Model22Series Ball ExpansionToolprovidesversatilityforuseinhydro-mechanicalballexpansionapplications.TheModel22Toolisdesignedforhigh-pressureexpansionoftubingusingachromesteelballorbullet.Thisuniquetoolalongwithahigh-pressurepowersource，suchasthe ExpanTek? THBallExpansionSystem，willrapidlyexpandtubingforboilercoils，refrigerationcoils，andtubularassemblies.
TheModel22 Ball ExpansionToolisasnap-oncouplingsuitablefortubeswithstandardODtolerancesupto10，000psi(689bar).
Toexpandatube，slipthetooloverthetubeendwiththeballalreadyinsertedintothetube.Pressthetubefirmlyagainstthestop.Whentheservicelineispressurizedtoapproximately50psi(3.45bar)thecolletsactivateforapositivegrip.Continueincreasingpressureuntiltheexpansionpressureisreached，butnottoexceedthemaximumpressureratingforthetool.Afterthetubeexpands，theservicelinepressuredropstoatmosphericpressureandthecolletsautomaticallyreleasethetoolfromthework.
TheModel22SeriesToolhandlesstandardandmetrictubesizesfrom0.25in.to1.25in.(6.3mmto31.75mm)indiameter.
