落地式端面鏜銑床廣泛使用在大型機加工設備，重型機械行業。端面銑床具有結構牢固、鋼性好、靈活性能優越、大型和超大型工件的端平面和槽類銑削、大型工件和鋼構件的端面加工、大型鋼鑄件和鐵鑄件和端面加工的結構和特點。

  落地式端面鏜銑床為整體式結構的端面落地銑床，立柱滑座在床身導軌上移動，銑削頭滑板在立柱導軌上、下移動并能軸向移動（可手動、機動），從而最大程度地滿足工件的加工范圍。銑削頭垂直、水平兩方向的移動均由一個進給箱通過直流電機或變頻電機驅動，電磁離合器轉輪箱減速，實現（25~200mm/min）無級進給。本機床可多工位臥式加工超大型電機機座地腳平面，亦可作特長特高形狀工件平面或槽的銑削及鉆孔。
